The Family table advocates for a more communal work culture. It is a self-sustaining furniture/pavilion/object that molds itself formally to all the activities of a creative office: places to store, places to host projectors, trenches to seat and present to the team. It is a sculptural object, but it is simply a module of a continuous work surface that can grow endlessly.
The aim of this table is to become the entire interior of a work setting by mirroring its modules. This creates spaces for supervisors at the extended ends of the table and for informal meetings, etc. The Family table can transform into an entire office. It is made as a single solid piece of material to blur the distinction between furniture, sculpture, storage, and small architecture to make what can be seen as a piece of work-art. It is a toguna for office operations, a meeting table, and a family space.
