The chair doesn’t begin as a chair. On one side of the workshop sits a stack of timber waiting to be shaped. On the other, rolls of fabric waiting to be chosen. Between them rests an empty frame and a hundred possible outcomes. Will it be finished in velvet or linen with tweed, Will the timber take on a darker, richer character, or something lighter and more restrained? At this stage, nobody knows. The only certainty is the silhouette.
Everything else is still becoming, This is where the story of the Pasi Lounge Chair begins.

Every Pasi Lounge Chair begins with a selection of timber. Selected, measured, and shaped with precision, the wood forms the architectural foundation of the piece. It is responsible for the chair’s quiet strength, its stability, and the visual lightness that defines its profile.
The process is deliberate. Each component is prepared individually before being assembled into the chair’s distinctive structure. Particular attention is given to the curved backrest, where form and comfort meet. The curve is subtle, but it determines how the chair feels the moment someone settles into it.

Once the frame is complete, attention shifts to comfort. Layers of cushioning are carefully built into the structure before being wrapped in the chosen fabric. Here, the personality of the chair begins to emerge.
It has only one default fabric selection (Tweed) but does not mean that the customer cannot select another fabric
Each material changes the mood of the piece while preserving the integrity of its design.
This flexibility allows the chair to respond to different interiors rather than forcing interiors to adapt to it.
